Reviews
The location offers excellent indoor seating. They take advantage of a building that was a first in terms of malls. I believe that was early 20th century. The grilled cheese sandwich was great. The coffee choices are a nice variety. Outdoor seating in nice weather is also excellent.
Bring back the salmon bagel!
Love their bottomless black coffee option.
Curry butternut squash bisque, spicy miel, and breakfast burrito.
Spicy miel was fantastic. Cinnamon and sriracha honey and espresso and oatmilk. Nothing else to say.
Ancora soup never misses. Curry butternut squash was really good. although I greatly miss the toasty fresh (sourdough?) bread that used to come on the side of the soups, the ritz crackers were a little sad.
Breakfast burrito was great. I’m vegetarian and I think veggie sausage is gross so I just did extra black beans for the protein choice and it was perfect. Wish it had salsa on the side or extra sauce to dip or something.
Favorite drink of all time here is definitely still the fruity pebble iced latte, so unique and delicious.
I did get the prickly pear lemonade a month or two ago which was superb and pink.
The Hella Stella was pretty good but again I recommend no sausage lol.
Pancakes are fine, nothing special but still satisfying.
Tomato bisque with the crusty bread is so so good when they have it.
Be aware that you will be waiting a good while (30+ minutes) for food, it’s not really a quick-service kitchen. Sit down and get comfy.
Delicious breakfast spot. Biscuits were very good, though probably griddled a little too much. Donuts and cinnamon rolls looked very good. Of all the good coffee spots in Madison, the dark roast was probably one of the best cups I had all weekend.
Very good coffee. Baristas all really know what they’re doing. Great atmosphere for doing work or meeting with someone. To top it off they easily have the best food at any cafe in madison. Easy 5/5.
Mashallah, it was a busy time, but I felt normal
Amazing delicious food. Great Pistachio Honey Matcha :)
